- About Me:
- I'm an Australian actor and graduate of NIDA. I grew up in a small country town in the centre of Queensland called Longreach. I come from a very long line of soldier veterans from World War 1 through to Vietnam and have worked at the RAAF base Amberley as an Aircraft maintenance engineer on aircraft used during the Vietnam war such as the F111. I am godfather to the children of one of the airforces most decorated men, Wing Commander Jack Lynch MBE. I'm not a war monger by any means but have a huge interest and knowledge of many of the wars of the last 100 years. Especially the battles in which Australian soldiers have fought. The battle of Long Tan is an incredible tale of bravery and determination and i'm so glad that it is coming to the big screen. Australians are considered to be the bravest and most feared soldiers in the world. A great deal of Australians are unaware of this and I find it great that someone is going to tell but one of their great war time stories. Being in the Film and Television industry I would have to say that it would be a fantastic opportunity to be a part of this project in any shape or form. I hope this film is an absolute success!
